Anna Russell joined the Beeson Divinity School staff in January 2020, after graduating from Beeson with her MDiv in Dec. 2019. She served first for a year and a half in the Global Center, and transitioned to her role as Events Coordinator in September of 2021. In the summer of 2023, she also began as Director of Beeson’s Center for Women in Ministry. Anna is an Arkansas native and an alumna of Ouachita Baptist University, but has lived in Birmingham since 2016 when she and her husband Andrew came to Beeson as students. She serves actively as an ordained deacon at St. Peter’s Anglican Church. She has a passion for Christian discipleship, especially for youth and students.
